Welcome to the City of Republic On-Line Payment System.

The City has partnered with U.S. Bank to be able to pay your water and sewer bills on-line from your computer, 24 hours a day.

What you need in order to pay your bill on-line:

  • Your utility bill, with your account number and the amount due.
  • A Visa or Mastercard for payment.
  • Your billing address.

If you have any questions concerning your payment, please contact City Hall during normal business hours, Monday thru Friday, 8AM - 5PM, at (417) 732-3100.

Payments submitted to the online payment system will not be processed until the next business day - please take this into consideration when making payments in order to avoid late fee's and utility disconnects.

Important Notice: Changes Regarding Payment Required for Service Restoration

Water and sewer customers are advised that new regulations will go into effect on June 1, 2010, that will affect service restoration after service has been turned off due to non-payment.  Customers are being informed of this change well in advance so they may prepare and address any past due payments prior to this change going into effect.  Beginning June 1, these changes will require payment of all past due amounts before service is restored.  Previous to this change, customers did not have to bring their account completely current to get service restored.

Utility Payments are due on the 10th of each month and a $5 delinquency fee is added on the following business day if payment has not been received by 5:00 p.m. on the 10th (Please note the notice above that payments submitted to the online payment system will not be processed until the next business day). Service disconnection occurs after a bill is left unpaid for a minimum of 45 days and a $25 reconnection fee is added to the account once an account goes into the disconnection process.  While the due dates and fees are not changing, the City is taking steps to encourage customers to save money by getting out of the cycle of routinely incurring delinquent and reconnection fees each month.  In many cases, customers not paying the entire balance due continue to incur fees that equal more than half of their normal monthly bill.  For assistance, the City does offer payment plans to assist customers having financial difficulties so as to avoid service disconnection.  For more information, contact Utility Billing at 732-3136.
