Father/Daughter Dance Tickets Now Available

Registration is now open for the 14^th Annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance! The dance will be held on Friday, February 2 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at the Republic Community Center. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for pictures; music will begin at 6:30 p.m. Come enjoy refreshments (finger foods and beverages), music provided by a live DJ, pictures taken by a professional photographer, and LOTS OF FUN!

Registration for the event runs through January 28. The cost per couple (father & one daughter) is $25.00 and $10.00 for each additional daughter (if registered on/before the January 28 deadline). Ticket prices will increase to $30.00 per couple (father & one daughter) and $15.00 for each additional daughter after the registration deadline (January 29 – February 2). All registered daughters will receive a goody bag. Pre-registration is required and payment is due at the time of registration. Senior Movie Day

Senior movies are held at the Republic Community Center on the last Thursday of every month at 3:00 p.m. The movies are free and no registration is necessary. Free coffee and popcorn are also provided.

Co-Ed Youth Soccer Registration

The Republic Parks & Recreation Department will begin taking individual and team registrations for Youth Spring Soccer on Monday, January 29. This co-ed soccer league is open to children ages 3-12 (must be 3 years of age by March 20, 2018). Age divisions are as follows: 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 years. The eight-game season will begin on Tuesday, March 20. The league fee is $175.00 per team for the 3-4 year-old division and $275.00 per team for the 5-12 year-old divisions. A $25.00 discount will be applied for resident teams. Games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Garoutte Field located at 210 E. Hines in Republic.

The deadline to register is Friday, February 23. For more information, or to register an individual child, call (417) 732-3500 or stop by the Republic Community Center located at 711 E. Miller Road. All of our youth sports programs rely heavily on volunteer coaches to make them successful.

School's Out Program Registration Open for Spring Break

School’s Out Program is offered during Spring Break (following the Republic School District calendar). Activities and field trips are planned to ensure a fun-filled day for the children. A sack lunch and a snack are required each day. Payment is due at the time of registration and is nonrefundable. A minimum of 10 children must be registered 48 hours prior to each date in order to run the program. The program is available for ages 6 (or in kindergarten) through 12 and runs from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The cost is $20 per child, per day.

Thursday, March 15: Gold Medal Gymnastics
Friday, March 16: Fantastic Caverns

Note: Due to staffing requirements and pre-payment for field trip costs, School’s Out Program fees are non-refundable. Refunds or credits will not be given for children who sign up for the program and then withdraw.

got Mud? Run, Tigger Tri, and Tiger Tri Registrations Now Open

Registrations for three great events opened on January 1.

The 4th Annual got Mud? Run will be held on August 25. Event and registration information can be found at www.republicmudrun.com.

The 8th Annual Youth Tigger Tri will be held on Friday, August 10 at 6:45 p.m. and the 12th Annual Tiger Tri will be held the following morning, Saturday, August 11 at 7:00 a.m. Event and registration information for both events can be found at www.republictri.com.
