The City does not require permits for re-roofing unless the decking is being replaced, or similar work is being done.
All roofing contractors performing work within the City of Republic must have a valid business license from the City and must be a licensed contractor with the State of Missouri. Any contractors found to be working without a license or permit will be issued a stop-work notice until all necessary permitting and licensing is obtained.
