To request a Street Closure, the application linked below must be filed at least two weeks prior to the event with the Public Works Department. All applications are reviewed by the Public Works Director, the Police Chief and the Fire Chief. All three parties must approve the application prior to approval of the request. If the request is approved, the applicant will be notified as soon as possible. There is no charge for this process.Public Works "How Do I?"

You must submit the permit application linked below to the Public Works Department for review and approval. If the permit is approved, the applicant will be notified. You must contact Missouri One Call (1-800-344-7483 or 1-800-DIG-RITE) 48 hours prior to digging. They will dispatch all member utilities to mark utilities located in the dig area. Please note, only utilities owned by companies or the City are marked. Utilities that are owned by the home owner are not marked.Public Works "How Do I?"
Utilities owned by home owners are water and sewer service lines, which are the lines that run from the house to the owner's side of the City mains, any electrical, fiber, cable television lines, etc. that were installed by a private individual are not located through this request. -

Submit the request at Report an Outage - Residential - Central - Liberty (libertyutilities.com). This will send the request directly to Liberty Utilities, who maintains the street lights within the City limits of Republic. Questions regarding the status of the repair must be directed to Liberty Utilities.

Deceased animals on City streets can be reported by calling the Public Works Department at 417-732-3400. Deceased animals on County roads need to be reported to the Greene County Highway Department at 417-831-3591.
